Lots of people all over the world play bingo at gambling halls, carnivals and other places. Groups of men and women go to their favorite places to play bingo several times in a week. This is because of bingo provides them entertainment and a chance to win some prizes with a social outing. Most people go to different places on the groups to play bingo and it is really interesting to play bingo with friends. Most people like to play bingo games in the evening, but some are in the afternoon.
Bingo is a very simple and easy game to play. It actually derived from the lottery game played in Italy in 15th century. Then after, game quickly spread in Europe and on to America. The game was actually developed by toy salesman who has hired a mathematician to prepare different combination of numbers and they have developed six thousand different cards and he began to market the game. It was called Beano, but a player accidentally called out bingo and then game become popular as bingo. The game was extremely popular and played in church and also public functions and parties. This is why people can play bingo games at different places. Bingo games are still one of the biggest church fundraisers.
If you do not know to play bingo then you can learn in a few minutes. Bingo is basically a game of chance or luck. The bingo cards have the letters B, I, N, G and O across the top of the card and below that is different numbers. Each column has fifteen numbers which ranges from one through seventy five. This version of game is called seventy five number bingo and it is played in American bingo halls. However there is different version of bingo game played in UK bingo halls called ninety number bingo. A caller pulls out numbered ping-pong balls from machine calls out the number.
When a number is called it lights up on a big board so all the players can check that numbers in their cards. Those players who have numbers in their cards, marks these numbers in cards. The game continues in the manner until someone achieves bingo pattern specified by the game caller. There are lots of different patterns are available. Most common are vertical, horizontal and a diagonal. The first one to complete the required shape calls out “Bingo” and wins the prize or dollar amount for that game. If there is more than one winner, then prizes are distributed among the players. There has to a winner in every bingo game. They just keep calling out numbers until they have a winner.
